Here at Sound Obsession, we love getting involved with our community. We recently volunteered at the Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Relay for Life is an inspirational 12-hour overnight fundraising event that brings the community together to celebrate life and unite in the fight for life. Teams of 10-15 people raise money to help the Canadian Cancer Society save live sand to support those who are facing cancer.

At Relay, the teams gather with cancer survivors at a track, stadium, or sports field and take turns walking laps for 12 hours, while all around them, the party is in full swing. Everyone can enjoy the music provided by a DJ, food, activities, and entertainment, as well as celebrate life.

We’ve all been affected by cancer in some way, so helping out with this great cause is just our way of giving back to the community. Below are just a few of the photos that were captured at the event. Enjoy the pics!
